We worked on an order of saw blades this afternoon. After sharpening them we clean them with CMT cleaner made specifically for wood working tools.

Taking care of some orders tonight that were dropped off today. We managed to get this axe super sharp for our customer. Our drop off box is available everyday for your convenience.

Over the last half of the year we quietly launched our Mobile Sharpenjng Service with the purchase of our work van. The van allowed us to delve head first into our sharpening business full-time and it’s been a blast. We’ve been fortunate to make the right moves at the right time and we can now service many industries. So if you are a Barber, Hair Stylist, Dog Groomer, Chef, Restaurant Owner, Seamstress, Tailor, Leather worker, Farmer, Crafter or if you just like pointy sharp things we can help you out! We went out to @buildingbok and sharpened some scissors for @tailoredcollectivephl this morning. Her pinking shears came out great with using our new Twice as Sharp system. Super happy with this machine so far!

Introducing our newest drop off sharpening location located in Haddon Township! The Uncommon Pantry recently opened and has some fantastic products. You can utilize their location for weekly sharpening drop off if you need the convenience of a store front. Go check them out!

We’ve been pouring epoxy all weekend and week long. The bars will be installed tomorrow where they will aclimate to their new home before we add the finishing touches. @kingsroadbrewing has a great aesthetic and the bars are always a main part of the look. Come out to Moorestown on the 19th-21st and check out their new location!

Come out next Friday to @three3sbrewing for a sharpening event that they are hosting! We will be parked outside the brewery from 3-8. You just drop your knives off before going into the brewery and pick them up when you head out.

Staying warm in the shop this week! Getting ready to start pouring epoxy over these bars this weekend and planning on installing them by then end of the week.

Yesterday we pulled out all the small power tools to get these bar tops nice and smooth. After all these years this little craftsman belt sander has put the work in for us and has taken a project from “I’m worried” to “it’s beautiful”. Thanks @craftsman

Flattening the bar tops for Kings Road Brewery’s newest location in Moorestown, NJ. We used @rockler_woodworking slab flattener to flatten over 160 square feet of 2x4s to obtain their signature bar top look.

Bar bases are all built and will be installed next week. The tops are going to be flattened the next few days and then they’ll be ready for epoxy.

This week we started to break down the lumber for four bars and bar tops! We had to expand the shop with a car port in order to accommodate the size of these bars and we are anxious to get the bar tops assembled!

We had a great weekend at the markets. @collsmkt had huge crowds all day and we sold a ton of cutting boards as well as sharpened from start to finish. We loved the way the sun hit our products and the trailer. @hhfarmersmarket kept the vibes rolling and the crowd didn’t disappoint. We sharpened a ton of odd tools and even fixed a few pocket knives this week. Next week we will be at @burlcofarmersmarket and again at @hhfarmersmarket ! See you this weekend Burlington!

Serious prep going down this week! We got new keychains, rings, spaghetti measuring tools, knitting tools, and our great selling herb strippers! We also have new earrings and bookmarks being made for the markets as well!

If you haven’t heard, next weekend is the Haddonfield Craft Fair put on by the wonderful people of @rencraftspa. And thanks to our wonderful customers, we only have five cutting boards currently in stock. So this week is a mad dash to the finish line in making boards. We have so many currently in process that I had to use our picnic table to dry the boards after the first sanding process. This step pops the grain and give you that silky smooth finish we love! Can’t wait to see you next weekend @downtownhaddonfield !

Finished up some grooming scissors on our Scimech flat hone sharpening system today.
